Retreat & Celebration BBQ
Fri, 7 Jul 2017, 10:30 – Sat, 8 Jul 2017, 19:00 BST
Retreat (Friday Night and Saturday Morning) - for Youth, Children's and Families Workers
St. Luke tells us that Jesus withdrew at times from his ministry to pray to his Father (Luke 5:16). Why not take time away with youth, children's and families workers from across Lichfield Diocese in July 2017 to Dovedale House for a 2 day retreat. Together we will seek to encounter God together through prayer and worship, share good food with friends and colleagues, reflect on the year that's gone, and seek God's guidance for the year ahead.
We will be joined by Stephen Hoyland, an experienced Ignatian Spiritual Director who will lead sections of our time away, in conjunction with the RNG Team.
Celebration BBQ (Saturday Afternoon & Early Evening) - for Workers and their Partners
At the end of the year, we also want to celebrate the contribution your partners make to your ministry by inviting them to a celebration BBQ on Saturday afternoon. We will arrange a variety of weather-appropriate activities and games for them whilst you have an afternoon off!
The retreat will be at Dovedale House, a retreat centre in the Diocese of Lichfield.
