REHAU and Building Your Skills will share how they have been working together to help fill a specific retrofit skills gap.
In an effort to attract new entrants to the fenestration industry and upskill the sector’s existing workforce, REHAU has partnered with Building Our Skills.
Building Our Skills – Making Fenestration a Career of Choice, was set up in June to 2018 to help raise awareness of the variety of careers available in the UK fenestration industry. The organisation works closely with employers and other businesses to help attract new entrants to the industry. Following initial discussions in 2023, the two companies officially joined forces in June 2024 after REHAU supported a series of careers fairs and visited Building Our Skills’ Sheffield training centre.
