Enabling people to work together for common goals in busy lives and challenging economic times is a challenge that all of our speakers and guests share and one that South Yorkshire CIC Ecofit has been working on through the development of a network and through their 2024 research.

Join Ecofit and their invited speakers as we discuss progress within our city relating to retrofitting, where the gaps are and how we can work together to fill them - and how we can create demand.

We know from Sheffield’s 2023 City Goals project that the environment is a key priority and that some survey respondents had dreams of Sheffield being world leaders - not just UK leaders - in this regard.

Construction firm RLB is currently creating a net zero study for the Sheffield City Council. This is an opportunity to hear from their team about their conversations and findings.

And Ecofit's findings from Housing Associations will be brought alive by a representative from South Yorkshire Housing Association.

This is the start of something. We’ll also be sharing our upcoming projects and inviting you to get involved in Ecofit’s Task Force - our multi-stakeholder network.

This is our second major event of 2024. SY Ecofit held an introductory retrofit workshop, Building a future together: Retrofit implementation, in Feb 2024 to explore challenges. This event is exploring solutions and connecting stakeholders.
