Conference and Awards

Having delivered pilot projects in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, partners in the Water Resilient Cities initiative are hosting the latest in a series of high-quality conferences focused on highlighting the lessons learnt and looking to the future of retrofitting SUDs to help revitalise and encourage inward investment into urban environments.

The Theme: Pragmatic Delivery of Retrofit SUDs: From Design to Delivery

The provisional programme includes:

Welcome and Coffee

Presentations for Peterborough and GreenBlue Urban and the Fletton Quays Experience

Presentations for French, Dutch and Belgian representatives and shared experience.

Lunch and Site Visits to the Fletton Quays scheme (walking distance from the venue)

Awards Ceremony


As part of the programme Peterborough City Council, Anglian Water, WYG and GreenBlue Urban will present the demonstrator site for Arborflow SUDS Tree Pit innovations on Fletton Quays, discussing all aspects of their implementation from design to modelling and delivery.

The conference will culminate in the announcement of the first SUDS Awards that celebrate the efforts and ingenuity of those delivering water management in urban environments in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK.
