Little extras:

💛 We will meet in Akshobhya in Tara Yoga Centre. Akshobhya is a Sanskrit word that means "Immovable," "Unshakable," or "Imperturbable".

💛 We'll create a small altar before the Circle begins. Please bring a small personal item—like a crystal, ring, or bracelet, for example—to place on it.

💛 Ancient circles served as both a practical and symbolic tool for protection, spiritual engagement, community cohesion, and connection to the cosmic or divine order. Their use reflected humans’ enduring need to create intentional and sacred space for transformation and unity.

💛 White Tantra is a term in the tantric tradition referring to practices focused on spiritual purification, meditation, and the awakening of higher consciousness. White Tantra is the branch of tantra devoted to spiritual elevation through purification, self-discipline, and meditative techniques—often practiced in pairs or groups—where the primary aim is achieving higher consciousness and inner unity, firmly rooted in non-sexual, ethical, and devotional frameworks.

💛 Yoga is an ancient system originating in India that encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual practices designed to promote union and harmony between body, mind, and spirit. The term itself comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “union”—symbolizing the integration of an individual’s consciousness with universal consciousness. The ultimate aim of yoga is self-realization—a state of liberation (moksha) and inner freedom—though it is also widely practiced for health, stress relief, and mental well-being.

💛 Tantra Yoga is a branch of yoga that weaves together a wide variety of techniques—such as mantra (chanting), meditation, visualization, mudra (hand gestures), pranayama (breathing practices), ritual, and physical postures—to explore and realize the interconnectedness of all existence. TY is a path that integrates diverse esoteric techniques to harness, elevate, and weave together all dimensions of human experience for spiritual transformation and awakening.
