Join us on the lush, volcanic island of Madeira for a week of rest, reconnection, and inner exploration. This is a space to return to yourself – through breath, movement, silence, and the healing rhythm of nature.
This is a low-cost retreat, open to everyone - no matter your level of experience. Whether you’re in need of deep rest, a change of perspective, or gentle guidance back to yourself, you are welcome.
With ONLY 8 spaces available, this is a cosy, small group retreat designed for personal attention and deep connection.
Held with love by Monika Orzeł (yoga teacher & therapist) and Magdalena Lesiak (holistic therapist & sound healing practitioner), this retreat is a nourishing blend of daily yoga, guided meditation, self-inquiry, and sound healing - all within the vibrant beauty of Madeira’s natural and cultural landscape.
You’ll stay in a beautiful hotel in Funchal, the island’s charming capital. Shared twin or triple rooms, daily breakfasts, and a welcoming group dinner on the first evening are included. Flights and travel insurance are arranged independently, giving you flexibility.

Whether you’re new to yoga and meditation, or returning after a long break, you’ll be supported every step of the way. You’ll learn yogic, ajurvedic & holistic tools for nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and balance that you can take home and integrate into your daily life.

- Journaling - self-reflection tool that helps organize thoughts, express emotions, and deepen the connection with oneself.

- Guided full-day island tour ( by private mini van, included in the ticket price)to visit most iconic places,
- Traditional Fado Night – A taste of Portugal’s soulful music culture ( you pay for food of your choice and the fado is included )
- Free time to rest, explore vibrant city of Funchal, enjoy the hotel’s free gym and relax in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool, or just be or explore Madeira island on your own or with us as a group, whatever you need on the day without any pressure to join or follow any schedules,
What’s Included:

Not included:
Flights & travel insurance not included (self-organised). Feel free to ask questions if you need any help.
Optional spa & excursions at additional cost that are not mentioned above ( eg dolphine and whales wathching if you willing to do it, but nothing is obligatory)
Meals (except breakfasts and welcome dinner). As we want to explore the Madeira during the trip we do not want you to be free to eat putside and try local specialities not having to come back to the hotel for each meal.

Retreat Investment & Practical Information
We believe that deep rest, healing and self-discovery should be accessible and fairly priced. That’s why Return to Yourself is designed as a supportive, rich, and transformational retreat – without luxury price tags.
Rather than choosing a high-end retreat centre, we’ve invested in meaningful content, experienced guidance, and unforgettable experiences on the island.
You’ll be staying in a comfortable hotel in Funchal with shared twin or triple rooms. The venue offers access to a swimming pool, spa, relaxation areas and is close to both nature and city life. It’s an ideal setting to unwind, learn, and connect – without the pressure of polished luxury.
Total Price: £885 GBP per person
(approx. €1,040 EUR, based on June 2025 rates)
This price includes:
- 7 nights accommodation in a shared en-suite hotel room (twin or triple)
- Daily breakfast + one welcome dinner
- Daily morning yoga, meditation, breathwork and mindfulness sessions
- All workshops and group sound baths
- One full-day guided island excursion (levadas, natural sea pools, Monte gardens)
- Access to hotel pool and gym facilities
- Guidance and group support throughout

How to Book
To reserve your spot, we ask for a £120 non-refundable deposit.
After placing your deposit, you can choose to pay the remaining balance either in full or in instalments. We also welcome custom payment plans – we understand that flexibility matters.

- £765 final balance due by 15 August 2025

Flight & Travel Info
Flights to Madeira (Funchal) are not included and must be booked individually.
However, please do not book your flight yet. Once you reserve your place with us, we will contact you as soon as the group reaches the minimum number required for the retreat to go ahead. At that point, we will advise you on flight options and arrival timing.
We also require all participants to arrange their own travel insurance for the duration of the retreat.

18 + due to our insurance, but if you are willing to take your teenage child with you, get in touch and we will check if we can accommodate that.
Absolutely not. Monika is an experienced yoga teacher and therapist who also loves to teach total beginners, but at the same time can easily adjust the class to all levels. Especially that she is very passionate about showing people that yoga is not only about stretching and being flexible.
We offer a mix of Hatha and Restorative Yin Yoga, as well as yoga therapy designed to support your health and well-being. In addition to these, there will be some sessions introducing ancient yogic practices such as Trataka.
Yes, all activities are optional. This is your time to relax and rejuvenate. You are welcome to rest, explore the area, or journal during any session.
Hotel breakfast is included. Other meals are not, as we want to remain flexible and not tied to hotel dining hours or a fixed schedule. We’ll explore the island, enjoy local food, and share simple ayurvedic tips to support digestion and mindful eating in daily life not only during retreat.
Each day typically includes morning yoga, meals, free time, yoga and self development workshops, evening relaxation practices , sound baths etc plus some Madeira sightseeing. It's our 4th time there and we believe we know the best spots that are a ''must see''.
Absolutely! Many participants attend solo. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and enjoy a supportive community. We will also be there all the time for you.
Travel is not included. Participants arrange their own transport. The retreat is easy to reach from the airport. We’ll share tips to help you plan, stay in touch by phone if needed, and wait to welcome you on-site to ensure everything goes smoothly.
