About this event

A live grief talk and Q&A by a bereavement support professional from grief charity Winston’s Wish about returning to school while grieving. For young people aged 13-25. This is a chance to hear directly from a bereavement support worker, ask questions and hear what other young people would like to know about grief.

How do I tell people at school what has happened? What if people at school avoid me or treat me different because my important person has died? What do I do if I can’t cope with being back at school? Get answers to your questions about returning to school as a grieving young person.

Held online via Zoom and not recorded, this is a safe space for grieving young people led by bereavement support professionals. All attendee cameras and mics will be turned off throughout. You can ask questions in the chat.

Whilst these sessions are confidential, which means that we will not share anything you tell us with anyone else, there are limitations. If you share something with us that makes us concerned about the safety of you, or someone else, we may have to pass this onto organisations outside of Winston's Wish. We will always try to talk to you about this first, if this is the case.

If you need crisis support, please reach out to your local emergency services (in the UK, this is 999).
