Do you need to bring anything with you?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you need to bring something with you that you would like to print onto.  This could be an item of clothing that you already have such as a t-shirt, blouse or even a cushion cover or pillowcase.  The fabric needs to be plain, light in colour and smooth - velvet or corduroy aren't appropriate.

Is there parking?

There is a pay & display car park very close to the leisure centre called The Wharf Car Park.  It can be paid for using Ringo and is location number 3517 and parking for three hours costs £2.60.

Are refunds available?

If you cancel your booking 7 days or more in advance of the event, a refund will be provided.

How accessible is the workshop?

This venue is fully accessible including toilets.

Where is the café?

The café is inside Tavistock Leisure Centre (Meadowlands), you don't need to pay to enter the centre, the reception staff will let you through.  Head for the double doors at the end of the short corridor.

What's included in the cost?

All of the resources that you will need for the workshop and tuition.  However, you do need to bring the item(s) that you'd like to print onto. Drinks and snacks are available from the café and paid for separately.

Question 7

Do I need any experience or artistic ability?

Accepted Answer

Most definitely not!  Louise will give you a detailed demonstration, she will have plenty of printed items to show you and give you inspiration. In addition, Louise will be guiding you through printing your own items.
