SYNOPSIS

Join us in person as we bring together investors and entrepreneurs to collaborate and connect.

Our selection of investors will each take the stage to provide a ‘reverse pitch’ for three to five minutes before the audience and a stellar judging panel of entrepreneurs who have either raised over a million or generated this much in revenue for their respective companies.

After each pitch, there will be a Q&A session.

The aim of the event is to clarify the process of fundraising and connect entrepreneurs into financing networks, as well as give investors the opportunity to demystify their processes and explain what they look for when making investment decisions.

The event starts with networking and canapés.

There will then be a Keynote speech by Nzube Ufodike.

Afterwards, there will be a three-minute pitching by Investors and a three-minute question and answer session.

There will then be a deliberation by judges, winners for the main award as well as the popular choice award will be announced and then before close, there will be final networking and drinks. This will serve as a quick introduction to the funding landscape, the fundraising process, and diversity, equality and inclusion within the sector.

Value for attendees:

Experience: Attendees at the event may have previously faced some work roles / experience through the networking opportunities and introductions facilitated by this event.

We will also have information about attendees that we can use to facilitate relevant introductions directly.

Connections: We're also putting thought into how we can meaningfully connect entrepreneurs to the IT profession in the room, both during and after the event.

Relevance: We are open to attendees from all verticals, but we specifically focus on marketing to founders & entrepreneurs in: pre-seed, seed and series A-B.
