About this event

The session will be delivered by Emeritus Professor Tony Chafer. Tony has delivered similar sessions before, and participants found his sessions very enlightening. We now have new REF peer reviewers and new academic staff who would benefit from such a session. Specifically, the session aims to :

· Provide an opportunity for new academics to build confidence in preparing REFable outputs of 3-star or 4-star quality.

· Be a platform for UoA 25 REF peer reviewers to get refreshed on how to rate UoA 25 submissions for REF 2029. This is very important because UoA 25 submissions come from multiple disciplines, making it challenging for reviewers.

· Enable REF internal peer reviewers to share their experiences and challenges encountered, and how they can improve.

· Allow the UoA Coordinator to interact with internal peer reviewers and academics, including early career researchers, with regard to the internal peer review process and any new developments.
