Reviewing supervision - tools and practical ways of working for supervision
Overview
About this event
We are offering a series of free online events for supervisors and managers working in social services in Scotland.
The events will link with the new National Occupational Standard (NOS) for supervision and supporting team members, and explore the different stages of supervision including preparing, carrying out and reviewing supervision.
Throughout the events we will invite you to share your experiences and examples from your practice.
We will deliver the events in partnership with the Leading to Change team at NHS Education for Scotland.
Reviewing supervision - tools and practical ways of working for supervision
The third in the series of events, you will have time to consider the tools and practical ways of working to improve supervision experiences. The Care Inspectorate will support this event by helping you to reflect on what’s typically in place to ensure high quality supervision. We will also invite you to think about the development role within supervision, including your own needs as someone supervising others.
By the end of the event, you will:
· develop your understanding of supervision processes and tools and how you review these
· consider how self-evaluation and quality frameworks can support you to deliver effective supervision
· consider what is needed to ensure high quality supervision
· know about the resources available to guide supervisors.
If demand is high, we may limit registrations to two per organisation.
