Revitalise is a day of juice, fitness and information packed workshops with all kinds of hints and tips for boosting your health and wellbeing.
PLUS I am thrilled to announce this is a joint venture with the very talented fitness trainer – Jonathan Fairhurst (yes, he’s my brother so I’m a wee bit biased). We already work together to bring you the Fit’n’Slim 12 Week Programme. The combination works incredibly well and now it’s time to encapsulate our knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for all things health in to one power packed, juicy, inspiring, uplifting day with plenty of fun thrown in for good measure.

Please note: There will be no lunchtime buffet! This is a day for cleansing your body and mind so we will be serving freshly made fruit and vegetable juices, herbal teas and water with lemon. It is an opportunity to give your digestive system a well deserved break and to recharge your system ready for the week ahead.

The fitness part
You’ll be in the hands of Jonathan of JGF Fitness – personal trainer, GB athlete and double Ironman – who will support, guide and encourage you to move your body in ways you might not have considered for a while.
Too many of us end up sitting in the car, at a desk or in meetings all day and don’t use our body other than to get in and out of bed, in and out of the car, to carry shopping, pick up children, and not much else.
So, if you want to:
be able to run around in the park with your children
carry the shopping easily
walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath
be able to push yourself up off the floor if you fall over
develop core strength and stability to prevent falls

Everyone will be at a different level. Some will have competed in 10ks, tough mudder style events, or just school sports day. Some will be regular gym bunnies whilst others won’t have broken in to a trot since their own sports day way back when. Whatever your level Jonathan will warm you up and encourage you to go that little bit further than you ever thought possible. He’s also there to show you that you’re capable of far more than you give yourself credit for and to encourage and support you as you build confidence.
What kind of results can you expect?
Totally transforming your fitness in a single day is a big ask but we can certainly get you started. And if you’re already on the fitness trail Jonathan will have plenty of variations to keep you pushing your limits too. All exercises will be flexible and adaptable for all levels from the first timer off the sofa to the marathon runner and weight lifter.

The health talk bit:
Eating a clean, healthy diet is fantastic but sadly, due to soil depletion, abundant use of chemicals, fungicides, herbicides and more, the quality and nutrient value of our food is no longer what it used to be. In an ideal world supplementation wouldn’t be necessary but if you want to add some oomphf to your energy levels, reduce your risk of serious disease and speed recovery from exercise then supplementation becomes a necessity.

Melissa will focus on the top 5 supplements that form an integral part of her day and are a fantastic starting point but there will also be time for questions if your supplement of choice isn’t on the list or if you’ve heard about another one you ‘should’ be taking for x, y, z reason.

Essential Oils are the immune system of the plant. They can come from the bark, leaf, root or petal and have an incredible ability to support the human body in a phenomenal number of ways.
Melissa will guide you through the basic principles along with which oils to use for particular situations and will share some totally delicious smelling oils with you. Believe me, you’ll LOVE them!
