Revival of Love — In celebration of the Mawlid

Event Description:

Mahdi is a singer-guitarist whose music synthesizes memory, love, and the journey towards God — lyrics that remind him of home, carried in melodies inspired by western artists.

Haidar is an oudist who draws on melodies from his native Iraq, performing alongside artists, nasheed groups, and as a soloist.

At Kismet, together they will present “Revival of Love” to commemorate the birth of God’s greatest gift, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him and his family).

Revival of Love is a series of nostalgic and original pieces dedicated to exploring the facets of the most incredible spirit to have roamed this earth and soared in its skies.
