Event description

Description

Sparked by the BFG exhibition, this workshop takes Roald Dahl’s disgusting re-imaginings of well-known fairytales and uses them for children attending to create big, bold, BFG-themed revoltingness. Led by Crafty Kids tutor Nicole Hickin, this workshop is about using the exhibition to relate Quentin Blake’s illustrations to the rhymes each child will create. The afternoon will consist of BFG crafts to build a scuddling, swigpill of poems, art and paintings!

£2 materials fee payable directly to the tutor on the day. Activity aimed at 7-11 year olds.

Parents welcome to stay and join in. Lunch may be taken outside in Victoria Park if the weather is nice.

Workshop fee includes snacks and juice, packed lunch to be brought along with each child and clothes suitable for getting messy to be worn!
