Join an evening of enriching and inspiring talks, hosted by Golden Eagle Luxury Trains and Steppes Travel, to mark the centenary year of the Russian Revolution and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Russia’s Premier Train, the Golden Eagle, famous for its Trans-Siberian Railway voyages.

We have the pleasure of welcoming Their Royal Highnesses Prince and Princess Michael of Kent GCVO, who will officially open this special evening of celebration, followed by an exceptional line up of guest speakers, as follows;

  • John Simpson CBE – World Affairs Editor, BBC News

  • Princess Katya Galitzine – Co-founder of the Prince George Galitzine Memorial Library

  • Susan Reed – Co-curator of the British Library, Russian Revolution exhibition

  • Christian Wolmar – Trans-Siberian Railway expert and award-winning author


Doors open at 6:00pm. There will be a cash bar facility available in the Map Room prior to the evening's talks, which will start at 7:00pm.

If you have purchased a VIP ticket, you will be invited to join our VIP drinks reception in the Map Room following the event, from 8.30pm.
