•	How do I know if this event is suitable for me?

If you have or are currently using Mental Health services in the Cwm Taf Morgannwg region (Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf or Merthyr Tydfil) or have experience caring or are currently a carer for someone using Mental Health services in the area – we would love to hear from you!

•	Can I attend this event and the online events?

Yes, please be aware that the topics will be the same.

•	Is the building accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the building has ramps to the rear and lifts to the second floor that staff can direct you to. There are disabled toilets located on both levels.

Question 5

•	When arriving at the venue, who do I ask for?

Accepted Answer

Ask a member of staff for the ‘Reward and Recognition Event’ and they will be able to direct you to the room.

Question 6

•	Will I be able to take a break from the event if I need to?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is space outside the meeting room for you to sit should you need to take a moment. There is also space downstairs which can be used.

•	Is lunch provided?

Yes, there will be a buffet on arrival which will be accessible for the entire session. If you wish to make alternative plans, there is a café on the ground floor of the venue. Please let us know ASAP if you have any dietary requirements.

•	How much do I need to participate?

Accepted Answer

You can be involved as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There will be times to share throughout the day, but only if you wish to do so.

•	Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, if you wish to bring someone to support you please do so. If you are unable to bring someone, but feel like you might require some support please let one of the Mental Health Service User Involvement Officers know – we will introduce ourselves on arrival.

•	I’m driving to the event, where can I park?

There is a large carpark to the rear of the venue which provides free parking.

•	How do I claim my expenses?

Accepted Answer

Bridgend, RCT and Merthyr will each have a form for you to complete for expenses to be paid to you directly.

•	What will be discussed?

We have a framework provided by the All Wales Mental Health forum, which covers different types of co-production. We plan to discuss what types of reward and recognition are most appropriate for each type.

•	I’m not sure if I want to receive any reward and recognition, should I still come?

Yes, we want to hear as many voices as possible. Your views will help us shape the decisions made for the region.
