About this event

Come and join us at this Rewilding Roadshow to meet the North East Rewilding Network rewilders and also to find out how to join the Network and connect with rewilders across the North East.

This is an all day drop-in event to be held at the Community Hub (located upstairs in the Green Quadrant) and is part of a calendar of Rewilding Roadshows happening throughout 2025 where you can meet the rewilders, browse the stalls, chat with North East Rewilding members, find out about how to join the Network, attend site visits, events, take part in volunteering opportunities as well as finding out how to rewild your space whether it be a garden, yarden, community space, allotment, land or even a window box.

There will be stalls, exhibitors including Durham Wildlife Trust, Wild Oysters, Strongers Shores, The Sea We See, Wildcraft, Bees of Bensham, Climate Action North, and lots more to be added.

We will also be holding a range of practical activities, mini-talks and workshops designed to raise awareness of rewilding whether it be community, land or marine rewilding, rewilding places or even ourselves, we have lots and lots of information to share.

The event is located at The Community Hub in the Green Quadrant (upstairs). There is free parking in the Green Car Park and also good public transport links to the Metrocentre.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Note: This Roadshow is funded by Rewilding Britain Innovation Fund and please do book your ticket to join us and to help us build up our Roadshows following.
