About this Event
Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of RheEnergise’s low-carbon, long-duration energy storage innovation. This is a rare opportunity to experience one of the UK’s most exciting high-density hydro technologies in action.
The Demo Day includes:
- A presentation and networking lunch at Plymouth University (minutes from the train station)
- A guided tour of the RheEnergise facility
- Insight into how this pioneering system integrates with local energy infrastructure
- Direct access to the engineers and innovators behind the technology
This event is ideal for those in clean energy, agri-tech, infrastructure, investment, and policy who want to see new solutions for grid resilience and sustainability up close.
🧭 Agenda
📍 12:00 PM – Arrive at Plymouth University (room details shared upon registration)
🗣️ 12:15 PM – Welcome presentation + overview of the RheEnergise system
🥪 12:45 PM – Light lunch & networking
🚐 1:30 PM – Transport to site
🌿 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – RheEnergise Facility Tour Including:
- Lower reservoir
- Powerhouse (turbine, pump, fluid management system)
- Fluid mixing system & mineral storage
- Hike to the upper reservoir + panoramic views
- Q&A throughout the walkaround
🚐 ~4:30 PM – Return to Plymouth station
🛠️ Practical Details
- Transport provided from Plymouth University to the site and back (approx. 25 min drive)
- Phone signal is limited in the area – please plan accordingly
- Footwear: Sturdy hiking shoes or safety boots are required for the hill walk and tour
- Lunch included
- Printed materials on the project will be provided onsite
