Rhyl's Horror Film Festival Returns for One Day Only

Don't miss out on this year's horror film festival in Rhyl! For one day only, join us for screenings of terrifying films, guest appearances, and vendors selling horror merchandise.

Organised by

Rhyller Thriller 2: Revenge of the Thriller – A Horror Extravaganza in Rhyl

We are thrilled to announce Rhyller Thriller 2: Revenge of the Thriller, a one-day horror festival that promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Although we have downsized to one day, we have focused on enhancing the quality and experience of that day to match two. Our dream is to create something special for Rhyl that brings people to this town, which means so much to myself and Vice President Tomos Paul.

What to Expect at the One-Day Horror Extravaganza

We have an exciting lineup in store for you, including some great movies and fantastic guests. Joining us this year are Neil Marshall, the man behind Dog Soldiers and The Descent, and Janine Pipe, a writer and director who waves the flag for women in horror and is the author behind Sausages: The Making of Dog Soldiers. We also have more surprises in store, with additional guest announcements coming soon.

A Fringe Market and “The Bloody Seagull Short Film Competition”

In addition to the movie screenings and guest appearances, we are proud to introduce a Fringe Market in the downstairs of the venue. This market will be open to the public, and will feature horror merchandise from local creators and great sellers from around the UK. We are also excited to launch “The Bloody Seagull Short Film Competition,” which provides budding filmmakers with the opportunity to showcase their creativity and passion with a low budget and lots of heart.

Looking Forward to the Future

We feel proud to have Rhyl's support, and we hope to make the town even prouder through our efforts. Although we've downsized to one day, we are already planning to bring the festival back to two days in 2025. Thank you for your support, and we can't wait to see you at Rhyller Thriller 2: Revenge of the Thriller!
