Our event is designed to support children's development. The rhymes and a story are chosen to help children develop a wide vocabulary and an understanding of that vocabulary. We include actions to support fine and gross motor skill development and our intended outcome is to help children to develop a love of words, stories and books at the earliest opportunity.

We often use a scarf or a clean tea towel for peekaboo rhymes and sometimes musical instruments too. If you have any, then it would be good to have them close to hand. Don't worry if you forget as at the start of each session we will let know if you any of these items.

The session is designed to get the family singing and doing the actions together. It will be as interactive as we can make it, without being in the same room, so we can keep everyone safe.

Only one ticket is required per household.

This event is run using Microsoft Teams software. You may be able to join the session using just your browser. However, some customers have needed to download the Microsoft Teams App so we are now recommending that you download the Microsoft Teams app to your device in advance, to avoid delays in getting in to the event.
