Rhythm Hub ~ Family Sessions, Exeter

With funding from Devon Music Hub, we're excited to be continuing the Shumba Family sessions at the lovely Heavitree Park Hub in Exeter. Over the next few months we'll continue on a monthly basis, please check the dates below and book on.

During these sessions we will learn some traditional West African rhythms and songs, as well as allowing the creativity of 'in the moment' music making to unfold. Lot's of drums and percussion provided, or bring you own if you prefer!

These sessions will build towards a celebratory community performance evening in September 2025 where all participants will have the opportunity to come together with local musicians and members of the wider community, to share and celebrate what we’ve created together during the project.
