About this event

With funding from the National Lottery Community Fund the Rhythm Hub project continues to go from strength to strength, bringing Exeter and Okehampton communities together through rhythm, dance and song.

Join us for an informal afternoon where we'll bring participants from different groups together and consolidate the rhythms and dances we have covered during the Rhythm Hub journey so far.

FREE ENTRY/Donations welcome

Sunday 31st August - Heavitree Park Hub, Exeter EX1 2TN

Saturday 6th September - Theatre Alibi, Exeter, EX4 1EJ

The Rhythm Hub project provides opportunities for people of all ages/ethnicities/genders/beliefs to take part in group drumming, dancing, singing and community-building games in a relaxing and accessible way that builds friendships and strengthens creativity, coordination, confidence and all-round wellbeing.

The project builds towards Rhythmic Folk ~ A celebratory community performance evening where all participants can come together with local musicians and members of the wider community, to share and celebrate what we’ve created together during the project.
