Who are RIASA and what do we offer?
Richmond International Academic & Soccer Academy (RIASA) is the world's only soccer programme offering a US college education alongside a professional soccer academy experience in the UK.
We’re a unique soccer academy that is partnered with Richmond, The American University in London to offer students the opportunity to study an undergraduate degree in International Sports Management at our Leeds campus, where our bespoke programme means your time is managed perfectly between your studies and soccer.
Alternatively, at our London campus launching Fall 2026, choose from 30 dual-accredited degrees to study your passion whilst continuing your soccer development in the capital city.
At RIASA, we are proud to be the world's only college soccer program offering a dual accredited US/UK degree, which will help you stand out from the crowd. As the degree is a Liberal Arts structure, it also allows students to make use of transferable credits.
When you join RIASA you will be thrown into a passionate footballing culture. We train at least 4 times per week, compete in local leagues and arrange various friendlies and showcase fixtures to help you develop.
Our academy has highly experienced UEFA coaches, we use professional standard facilities, and the campus where RIASA is located offers a sense of community with breathtaking architecture and greenery.
Our programme also gives you a massive headstart if your ambition is to play soccer professionally in Europe - a number of former and current RIASA students have been given opportunities to play abroad in countries such as Finland, Norway, Scotland and many more, after RIASA provided them with a pathway to do so.

- Compete for 9 months in the UK

What is a RIASA ID Camp?
The event is well planned and gives the chance for students to experience UK football. On the day you will meet our highly experienced coaches, understand the demands of English football, train with high intensity and learn more about our unique dual accredited soccer programme.
It's also the perfect chance for you to showcase your playing ability during our training sessions. Our coaches will monitor you as a player to see if you have the potential to fit into our UK College Soccer programme.
We love meeting parents and the families of any students that attend, it's a great opportunity to find out everything you need to know to make a decision about where you want to play your college soccer.
Who will be coaching?
At RIASA, we pride ourselves on the quality and experience of our coaches, who all hold various levels of UEFA Coaching Licences in both outfield and goalkeeping.
A selection of our UEFA-qualified coaching staff will be attending the ID camps, giving you the full RIASA experience in the form of a training session, as well as answering any and all questions you may have about the academy.

Who should attend the RIASA ID Camp?
Any soccer player who is exploring options for college soccer at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. We also welcome those who have already been accepted onto the programme.
The RIASA ID Camp offers a glimpse into what life could be like when you join our academy and embark on a life-changing journey in the UK playing with RIASA.

Frequently asked questions

Tickets for this ID Camp are priced at $69.00 per person which includes approximately 2-3 hours of on pitch coaching, a programme presentation and a welcome meeting with RIASA staff.
You will be sent an itinerary of the schedule for the day in due course - final times are to be decided.
if you need to cancel a purchased ticket, you will need to do this 14 days before the event date. Any refunds closer to the event date will not be refunded.
We recommend attending any of our US ID Camps, so you can see how our coaches can help you develop. It also helps us too if we see your playing ability before you apply to join.

We will accept athletically strong players from the ages 16-23.
