To continue RIBA Europe’s mission to promote architecture, support architects and enhance its presence across the continent, we are pleased to announce the next event in our series, which began in Paris and has been extended to Milan, Madrid, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Venice.

This time, the event will take place in Paris again over two days, 23 to 24 September, and we would like to invite you to join us for for workshops, building tours, some engaging presentations, discussions and networking.

Please note, that you can register for both or just one of the 2 days of the event.

Day 1 Friday, 24 October 2025

10:00 -12:00 - Guided tour of adaptive reuse of former Nanterre School of Architecture campus

Paris and Rome-based architectural studio IT’S will give a guided tour of their soon-to-be completed transformation of the former Nanterre School of Architecture, a renowned Brutalist complex that will soon welcome the main campus of De Vinci Higher Education.

Max capacity: 40 participants

Please provide European shoe size as construction site boots will be provided.

Meeting point on day of visit: in front of RER A station, Nanterre-Préfecture, exit number 1 – Carillon. Please be 10 minutes early.

12:30-13:30 - Lunch

14:00-16:00 - Guided tour of La Défense district and meet-and-greet with officials

The public authority of Paris La Défense oversees the development and management of Europe’s largest business district. This event will give participants the chance to tour Paris La Défense headquarters and meet with its top officials, in addition to being guided through many of the district’s significant architectural and urban features.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Meeting point on day of visit: in front of the Starbucks at Coeur Défense office towers. Please be 10 minutes early to allow for security clearance.

Travel and accommodation are not included in your ticket price.
