Description
Great British Buildings gives you an exclusive look at some of the this year’s RIBA award winning buildings in the London. Join the architect for a one off architectural tour as they reveal the stories behind the building, what inspired them and what makes their building an RIBA Award winner.
As part of this series of events showcasing 2018's Award winners, we will tour The Department Store, a development by architects Squire and Partners, which revives a local Brixton landmark, the Bon Marche department store, creating a series of collaborative workspaces
The building, described by the jury panel during the RIBA Awards process as:
‘A stunning building which has been brought back to life. Exceedingly exquisite and sensitive restoration, filled with beautiful material choice, attention to details and wonderful spaces.’
The building tour will be followed by our end of year party at Upstairs, The Department Store!
