RIBA Wessex Annual Open Meeting 2016: City Hall Bristol Revealed
City Hall, Bristol, 5.45-8.30pm

Join RIBA member colleagues for an evening of celebration, social networking, information and a building tour as RIBA Wessex looks back over the past year, and forwward to the next. And did we mention complimentary food and drink for RIBA members.

This fast-paced evening features an interactive presenttaion from Councillor Paul Smith, Cabinet Member for Homes at Bristol  City Council on Bristol's objective to deliver 2000 new homes per year, and how can RIBA architects support this target?

New RIBA chief executive Alan Vallance will talk on an exciting future for the RIBA; and we are really pleased to conclude the evening with a tour of the newly refurbished and reconfigured City Hall with Alec French Architects.

The evening's programme will be:
5.45pm: Arrival for drinks, light buffet and social networking
6.30pm: Round-up of the year from new RIBA Wessex chair Rebecca Ridge
6.45pm: Cllr Paul Smith, Cabinet Member for Homes, Bristol City Council
7.10pm: Alan Vallance, new RIBA Chief Executive
7.30pm: Tour of refurbished City Hall with Alec French Architects
8.30pm: Close
