About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Join your RIBA South West Regional Engagement Partner, Nathalie at this free event to meet more of your local peers and share your experience of working in the South West while getting a fresh air fix.

This event is open to all from the built environment - encourage your connections to come along!

We will meet for refreshments at The Swan Inn. Then our route will be approximately 2.3 miles, taking in Wilton Windmill, Wilton Water and Crofton Beam Engines. Some of the walk takes you along the Kennet & Avon Canal and you will even follow the footsteps of ancient Romans as you walk along an old Roman road!

Why Netwalk?

As you walk side by side, conversations flow organically. The casual and open atmosphere allows for more authentic connections, transforming traditional networking into a dynamic and enjoyable experience.

The act of walking has been proven to boost creativity, walking isn't just a meeting; it's a catalyst for innovation.

Additional information

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a mixture of terrain and a small bottle of water.

We will keep an eye on the weather that week, in the case of heavy rain or inclement conditions, the event will be cancelled with 24 hours notice and rescheduled for another date.

Accessibility

The walk follows a maintained footpath, that is wide enough for at least two people side by side. The route is mostly flat with only a slight incline towards the end.

There are blue badge parking spaces within the main car park and accessible toilet facilities.
