Scotland is in an enviable position in terms of potential sources of renewable energy. With a coastline longer than China we could provide enough wind, wave and tidal power for our needs and beyond.
Our Assembly will explore what we can do to help make that happen.
We are delighted to have three resolute campaigners to introduce our discussion.
Mark Ruskell, MSP Climate and Energy Spokesperson for the Scottish Green Party, Penny Cole, Broad Alliance Against Unconventional Gas Extraction and Callum Macleod, Our Forth - Portobello.
David Somervell, long time Sustainability Adviser to The University of Edinburgh will facilitate the discussion.
