Among the highlights of this 2-hour grand tour of Richmond you will see Richmond Green where knights in armour once jousted, the remains of a royal palace, attractive urban riverside with the oldest bridge spanning the Thames in London, amazing views from Richmond Hill and King Henry’s mound in Richmond Park, the possibility of roaming wild deer and the old village of Petersham. This moderate walk is along paved paths and gravel tracks and some well-trodden paths that may be muddy. Slightly hilly in places. Recommend suitable shoes for walking.
