Description

TUESDAY 7th NOVEMBER - RICHMOND LITERARY LUNCHES AT ROYAL MID-SURREY GOLF CLUB
in collaboration with Waterstones.

Literary lunches include a delicious two-course lunch with a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and
personal insights into each literary work by their authors, all for just £35 per person.

This literary lunch includes:

Philip Collins - When They Go Low We Go High - Informed by Collin’s experience as The Times Correspondent and a speech writer, When They Go High We Go Low, is a passionate defence of the power of good public speaking to protect democracy. The strain shows with the low repute of politicians using ‘half-truths’ to attract a populist vote.

Patrick Eagar - Feeling Is The Thing That Happens In 1000th Of A Second - Mike Atherton review in The Times “Patrick Eagar, the genius photographer of cricket’s modern era, has retired leaving behind a treasure trove of images reproduced in the book”. Patrick, a member of Royal Mid Surrey, knows the characters behind the images.

Josh Ireland - The Traitors - Treachery, “is more complex than Judas and his thirty pieces of silver would lead you to believe.” In this clever, racy book, Ireland tells the stories of four British citizens who served Nazi Germany. There are many books about the heroes of WW2, this is the only account of men hung for the betrayal of their country at the time of war.

Don't miss your opportunity to meet the authors and purchase personalised signed copies of thier works at discounted prices.
