13:00 – Welcome
13:15 – Key Insights from the RICS Red Book By Joel Scherrenberg, MRICS. This workshop will guide you through the structure and principles of the Red Book Global Standards, highlighting how it underpins professional valuation practices and reinforces trust in the market. This interactive session will place particular focus on the most significant updates in the Red Book and IVS 2025 – and their impact on valuation practice going forward.
14:15 – Social Value Assessment By Sanni N. Breining. In this session, Sanni N. Breining from Ramboll will provide an introduction to the concept of social value assessment – a structured approach to identifying, measuring, and documenting the social, economic and environmental impact of real estate and infrastructure projects on local communities and society at large.
14:45 – Parallel Workshops (Participant will have to choose one):
• A: Valuation Workshop - Explore practical cases and challenges with a focus on applying Red Book standards
• B: AI Discussion Group - Open discussion on how artificial intelligence may influence valuation, advisory work, and the property sector as a whole
