Event Information
Description
The programme, consisting of one-hour coached sessions every Tuesday with triathlon coach Fiona Hoare, will teach you all the skills you need to ride in a triathlon in a fun and relaxed environment.
All you need to participate in this is some clothes to run & cycle in. If you have a bike and helmet to use then that is great, but if you don't have one then please let us know and we will provide them when required.
Wk1 (4th July) - Basic Riding Skills
Wk2 (11th July) - Basic Riding Skills (Including gearing & cornering)
Wk3 (18th July) - Basic Riding Skills (Including mounting and dismounting)
Wk4 (25th July) - Basic Riding Skills (Including group riding & handling)
Wk5 (1st August) - Group Riding for Training
Wk6 (8th August) - Hill Work
Wk7 (15th August) - Recap of Weeks 1-6
Wk8 (22nd August) - Edurance Riding
Wk9 (5th September) - Progressive Riding Skills (including cornering & gearing)
Wk10 (12th September) - Race Intensity
Wk11 (19th September) - Duathlon Preparation
Wk12 (26th September) - Homework (Things to take away for your future riding)
