Event description

Description

FACT: In our busy lives we can all be guilty of taking things a little too seriously at times. Perhaps we forget to make time for the things we love – the things that make life count.

For me, that’s being out on my bike. When the sun is shining, it doesn’t take long to dream about riding around Girona or the Pyrenees. Back to Bristol - I would love you to join us over the summer for a monthly ride out. You can tell your friends it’s a business meeting…. We can’t promise the sunshine, but lets be honest you cant beat a ride over the Mendips midweek.

So, lets take things down a gear, with a group of likeminded people who believe that you should do the thing we enjoy the most – putting it simply #makelifecount

The ride will be 80km from Bristol centre to Mendips, returning back to Frameworks.

When?

17th April, 15th May, 12th June, 17th July, 21st August, 18th September

Remember; get these dates blocked out now. We all should book in the things we enjoy the most FIRST!

Where from?

We will leave Frameworks in Bristol at 09.30 sharp. Join us from 09:00 for a coffee to kick start a great ride.

The detail:

  • Ride aimed at confident riders, local club members

  • This is a training ride not a race – full group ride etiquette expected. We will stick together and rotate as we go.

  • This is a chance to meet new people, not a sales meeting. Any bad behaviour; you will be towing the group around and will be forced to buy the coffee!

  • Coffee stop at Cheddar – ROCKFACE, The Cliffs, Cheddar, BS27 3QH

  • GPX File of route – will be available nearer the time

  • Each rider takes full responsibility for their health, bike, road safety and kit. This is not a tourist outing although there might be a couple of photos taken!
