Ridgefest 2020 tickets on sale now!

Set amongst the vines with panoramic views of the beautiful Sussex countryside and South Downs beyond, this unique location offers you the perfect backdrop to a day of live music, delicious street food and of course, your favourite English Sparkling Wine.

Parking & Transport

We would advise that you travel by public transport wherever possible. Our nearest train station is Burgess Hill, which is on the main London to Brighton train line. Burgess Hill station is only 5 mins from the winery by taxi.

Car parking at Ridgeview is EXTREMELY limited and all parking tickets MUST be reserved in advance. If you do not have a parking ticket, you will not be able to park on-site and will be turned away.

We will also be offering a shuttle bus service from Burgess Hill train station to make sure that you get safely to and from the event – stress free! Details of the shuttle service will be available nearer to the event date.

Are children welcome? Is there anything for children to do?

Children are more than welcome to attend Ridgefest, however we are a working vineyard and winery, as such children are not allowed on the tours of the estate. We will have a children's silent disco channel and some fun games however this is the extent of the provided entertainment.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We will be operating a “Challenge 21” policy, so bear in mind that you may require ID for this reason.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?

Ridgeview accepts all major card types; however we cannot guarantee that our street food vendors will. For this reason, we recommend you bring enough cash for your food. You will be able to use cards for our event bar and all wine purchases from cellar door.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we can only accommodate guide or accessibility dogs.

Are you wheelchair / pram friendly?

We welcome wheelchair users / families with prams and we do all we can to ensure comfort and safety for wheelchair/pram users. Please let us know if you require parking as close to the event site as possible.

We have an accessible toilet in the main winery building and wheelchairs/prams can navigate around the vineyard on paths.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

We always try to ensure that we offer a great variety of foods at each event. Our lovely traders have lots of delicious treats for you and will be more than happy to talk to you about ingredients and help with any dietary queries.

Can I bring my own food?

No. We have fantastic food and drink available so please leave your picnic at home and give our vendors a whirl. You might even discover something new!

Can I bring alcohol?

No, due to licensing law this is strictly prohibited. There is a well-stocked bar on-site providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If anyone is found to be bringing in alcohol, they will be escorted off the premises and no refund will be given.

What will happen in the event of bad weather?

In the event of bad weather, Ridgefest will not go ahead. Refunds will be provided should the event be cancelled by Ridgeview due to extreme weather conditions making the site unsafe.

Ridgeview was established in 1995 by the Roberts family in the South Downs of England. Dedicated to producing the highest quality sparkling wine from traditional Champagne varieties and methods, Ridgeview are a leader within the rapidly developing English Sparkling Wine industry, Ridgeview have been awarded over 250 medals & international trophies and export their wines around the world to 14 countries.

Ridgeview would like to welcome visitors to our beautiful vineyard and winery which is nestled at the foot of the South Downs in the village of Ditchling.  We are an ideal location set within the picturesque South Downs National Park and close to the bustling city of Brighton & Hove.
