Ridgeview Wine Garden Launch
Sat 3 June 2017, 11:00 – 16:00 BST
To coincide with English Wine Week, we are launching our new Wine Garden. Overlooking our picturesque vineyard and the stunning South Downs National Park beyond, we've created the perfect spot to sit back with a glass of Ridgeview and enjoy the stunning views.
Throughout the summer we'll be serving up hampers of only the best local produce, including charcuterie from Beal's Farm, Springs' Smoked Salmon, award-winning Sussex Charmer cheese and bread from Flint Owl Bakery. Ridgeview wines will be available by the bottle and by the glass, with delicious Wobblegate juices for the little ones (or designated driver!)
So come along to our Launch Party on Saturday 3rd June for a fun-filled day to celebrate the opening of our new Wine Garden.
The day will start from 11am all the way through to 4pm, so feel free to come along either for a couple of hours or stay to enjoy the whole day. We’ll have plenty to do, with classic outdoor games for the kids, live music from David Gayler and tours of the vineyard & winery.
Included in the ticket price is a welcome glass of Ridgeview sparkling wine, a mini tour & tasting and feasting platters of food from our favourite local producers.
You'll be able to buy wine and soft drinks from our Ridgeview bar.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We will be operating a "Challenge 21" policy and so bear in mind that you may require ID for this reason.
The lead name on your ticket(s) will be that of the person who purchased them, these can be given to someone else and ID won't be needed to match the ticket.
If you are lucky enough to look under 21 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you buy alcohol. If you are under 18 you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We would of course suggest that you avoid driving where possible, so that you are able to enjoy our wine, however there will be parking on-site on the day. If travelling by car, please make sure that you have registered for a parking ticket.
The nearest train station is Burgess Hill, which is on the main London to Brighton train line. Burgess Hill station is only 5 mins from the winery by taxi.
Can I post photos to social media?
Yes, we’ve very happy for you to do so.
@RidgeviewWineUK on both Twitter & Instagram
Can I bring my own food and drink into the event?
Unfortunately not. We will be laying on plenty of food (included in your ticket price) and there will be a Ridgeview bar where you can buy wine and soft drinks.
We do understand however, that the little ones might not fancy cheese and salmon! Please feel free to bring snacks for the kids.
Can I bring my dog?
I’m afraid not, we can only accommodate guide or accessibility dogs.
I am in a wheelchair, will I be able to go on the tour?
Yes, we have flat paths around the vineyard, a lift up to our tasting room and an accessible toilet.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
By email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (01444 242 040)
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds will be accepted up to seven (7) days prior to the event. No refunds after 27th May 2017.
Just for your info, we will have an official photographer walking around during the day!
