About this event

This is a lovely walk through fields, woods and the village of Riding Mill.

Staying on the south side of the Tyne, we gradually climb the valley side (161m max elevation) so will be treated to some wonderful views.

There's loads of variety on this walk, and we'll be on mixed surfaces, so there may be some mud if it's been raining. You'll certainly be better off wearing walking boots or shoes.

Of course, what you wear is weather dependent, however, I would suggest bringing layers as well as a waterproof jacket (hopefully to carry, but you never know....).

There is limited parking at Riding Mill train station as well as some at the Millennium Hall. Please park courteously.
