RiF Seminar: Women in Philanthropy with Jen Filla
Tue 25 April 2017, 14:00 – 17:00 BST
Did you know that globally, women are the decision makers of 27% of the world’s wealth?
Women are getting wealthier. Women give more than men. But we may be missing them using existing search and fundraising strategies. Using the latest wealth and giving studies, join Jennifer Filla as she explores the data for the U.K. and other countries and discusses how current tools miss these wealthy women. Using a worksheet, consider which alternative sources for information or other fundraising strategies might work best for your organization. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of women donors and prospects and how to connect to them through prospect research and strategy.
In this seminar you will learn how to:
- Recognise common data errors in identification and cultivation of womem
- Apply new strategies in support of philanthropic efforts that include women
Opening and closing remarks from the UK’s Dr Beth Breeze, Director of the Centre for Philanthropy, at the University of Kent.
Refreshments will be provided.
