Event description

Description

The sounds of loud footsteps, the blood curdling screams of the lady dressed in grey, books being thrown by unseen forces.....these are some of the chilling occurrences to take place at the Rifles museum in Salisbury.

Visitors have come face to face with the ghost of a cavalier on regular occasions and had windows and doors slam shut on them with no rational explanation. It is a venue that has seen many paranormal groups run for the door.

This is your chance to take part in a real ghost adventure thats not for the faint hearted. You will be able to take part in a range of experiments including seances, table tipping, dowsing and many more.

History

The foundations of this historic building dates back to the 13th century when it was originally the home of a Canon who worked at Salisbury Cathederal. Shortly after, it was handed to the Bishop of Salisbury. In 1543 it was named 'The Wardrobe', a name that sticks to this day.

In the 18th century the building became the home of the Cole family who made changes to the building. In World War II it was used as a hostel for the forces before becoming a museum in the 1980s.

With so much paranormal activity....what awaits you when you take on this Ghost Adventure....
