We are delighted to host the Croydon premiere of Right Between Your Ears - produced and directed by Croydon filmmaker Sheila Marshall, at the David Lean Cinema, 3 October, 2018, at 6.45 pm (for a 7 pm start).

Right Between Your Ears sits at the intersection of belief, psychology and neuroscience, an investigation into the nature of conviction with reflections on society’s increasing polarization, entrenched beliefs and post-truth politics.

Many people have a strong sense that their views are right and couldn’t possibly be wrong. So how do we come to hold an unshakable conviction and why is it hard to consider that we could be mistaken? Through the eyes of a group of people who became convinced of a date for the end of the world, Right Between Your Ears explores how people believe, how we turn beliefs into certainties and mistake them for the truth.

The documentary is directed by Croydon filmmaker Sheila Marshall and co-produced with neuroscientist Kris De Meyer (King's College London, UK). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Sheila and Kris.

The doors will open at 6.45pm, with a prompt start at 7.00pm.
