Come join us on Wednesday 8th October, 7-8.30pm at St Mary's Church on Upper Street in the heart of Islington for an illustrated talk on Right Plant, Right Place, the BIG seed giveaway and our spring bulb bonanza. There will also be wine and nibbles. All are welcome!
The BIG Seed Giveaway:
We will kick off our Autumn 2025 event with The BIG seed giveaway. Feel free to bring seeds to donate to other attendees. There will be a good selection of seeds (annuals, perennials, edibles etc) for a variety of situations (sun, shade and everything in between).
Illustrated talk: Right Plant, Right Place with Caroline Broome aka Garden-Girl
We will then settle in for the illustrated talk ...
‘Right Plant, Right Place’ will take a look at some of England's finest gardens to see how their grand designs can be adapted to suit your own outdoor space, whether large or small. From Dry Shade to Exposed, Sunny Sites, there's a planting scheme to suit all aspects of your garden. This talk illustrated throughout and includes a Plant List to take away.
A bit more about Caroline

We will also provide information about 'lasagna planting' for bulbs which may be helpful. We may also offer packs of bulbs for tree pits and forgotten corners.
