About this event

Join us for a free Heritage Open Days event on the history of disability activism and the suffragettes. We will have drop-in on Saturday 20th September between 11.30-3.30pm, where you can explore our awesome museum, dress up in our parlour, and check out our Edwardian garden. Additionally, you can find out all about suffragettes with disabilities, information on movements and activism related to equal rights for disabled people, and try your hand at making your own mini protest placard based upon banners, slogans and placards from disability activists and protests.

We have bike stands for visitors in the garden at the rear of the property.
