This is a great opportunity to experience a shared reading group in the glorious setting of Rimrose Valley... relaxing your mind, body and connecting with others.
These taster sessions will be led by Rimrose Valley Friends' volunteer, Michelle Barrett, who has previously worked for The Reader in Calderstones Park.
All reading materials provided, though you might want to bring a flask and something to sit on (in case the benches are occupied).
There's no pressure to read out loud, simply turn up and listen to a great poem or story, whilst out in nature.
We will meet at the Derwent Road entrance before taking a gentle stroll to a nearby location.
If you have any accessibility needs, please get in touch and we'll do our very best to make the session is as comfortable as possible for you.
Extreme weather, such as excessive heat, high winds or torrential rain may lead to the late cancellation of this event. We will be in touch with participants by email and also post on our social media channels, so please check both on the morning of the event.
This session is limited to 12 people, so please book your ticket ASAP to avoid disappointment. Bookings are limited to a max of 2 tickets per person so as many people as possible can take part.
If you are no longer able to make it, please cancel your place(s) to allow others to attend.
As with all our events, please come on foot, bike or public transport wherever possible. If you have to come by car, parking is limited at this entrance which is in a residential area, so please park respectfully.
Enjoy!
