The purpose of the sandpit is to:

• encourage funding bids from the North East to the palliative and end of life call across NIHR programmes in 2022-23
• bring together researchers, practitioners and PPI to share ideas
• kickstart new research/practice partnerships
• provide earlier career researchers with support, particularly those from disciplines where the research culture is not well developed.

All welcome- but especially suited to those looking to develop palliative and end of life research funding in North East England.
