Cars, motorcycles and campervans are often the things we most readily think of when considering great, iconic design.
They capture and tap into emotion and desire probably more than any other product, and many a teenager in the 1970s had a poster of a Lamborghini Countach on their bedroom wall.
But great design results from hard work, and a great deal of insight, and so we're going to be hearing about what goes into these great designs, and what we can learn from that.
This event is for you if:
- You want to dive into what design means for your business, how to apply it and potential impacts
- You run a business and want to improve your products or services in any capacity
- You want to connect with designers, manufacturers, innovators and a whole host of other fasinating people

- You want to make your business more sustainable, scalable, or efficient
- You’re curious about how design thinking could benefit your organisation
- You want to connect with like minded people and share experience and insights
Meet the Speakers
Matt Hine, Head of Business, Lexus Liverpool
A car is so much more than a means of getting from A to B. It can represent who we are or who we aspire to be, and for many of us it's a place that reflects our taste, lifestyle and cultural preferences, as much as our homes.
For this reason Lexus designers continually challenge the conventions of automotive luxury, striving to expand the horizons in both products and services to create unique, expectation-surpassing experiences for each customer.
Matt will tell us more and share some amazing stories in relation to the design philosophy in Lexus
More speakers to be announced soon…
About Rise and Design
Rise and Design lasts for approximately three hours and includes networking both before and after the talks. There’s also a chance to pitch at the end of the speaker presentations – a friendly, informal way to share your idea or project. We encourage all delegates to stay for the post-event networking – it’s one of the most valuable parts of Rise and Design.
