Event description

Description

Construction is another of those industries that have been around since, ....... well, since we moved out of caves. And despite this long history, there are still innovative products, materials and processes coming along that are revolutionising the way buildings are designed, built and managed.

We'll be hearing from organisations who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and sharing some insights into the way they see them changing the industry.

Speakers include -

Shaun Allan - CEO Vector76 XR

Reflect on Unity

Shaun has worked in the immersive tech space for longer than most, and has developed applications ranging from road safety awareness to music videos. He'll be sharing his thoughts on how the Unity game engine can be leveraged to work directly with Autodesk Revit, to deliver a range of immersive tools that result in very real ROI in construction.

More speakers will be announced soon

Rise and Design lasts for approximately three hours, and includes networking before and after speakers. There is a chance to pitch at the end of the speakers' presentations, and you can book a stand for the whole event. We encourage all delegates to stay after presentations for networking - it is one of the most valuable parts of Rise and Design

Please note: The places at this event are fully funded from ERDF and LGF sources and as such we are required to capture reporting data for our funders on the recipients attending to demonstrate the support and this is reflected in the questions to complete as part of the registration process.
