Event description

Description

Supply chains are vital to business, and are growing larger, wider and more complex every day. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Smart Labelling, Internet of Things and Blockchain are having a huge impact on the way products and components are designed, specified, manufactured and supplied.

We'll be hearing from those organisations who are developing and using these technologies, to make sure you know what's possible and can use it to enhance your own supply chain.

Speakers include -

Charles Holmes, ChainLink

Charles will describe the various ways that blockchain technology is impacting on supply chain management

Ian Cornwell, Kraken IM

Ian will describe how their technology can track parts and components through complex global supply chains.

Rise and Design lasts for approximately three hours, and includes networking before and after speakers. There is a chance to pitch at the end of the speakers' presentations, and you can book a stand for the whole event. We encourage all delegates to stay after presentations for networking - it is one of the most valuable parts of Rise and Design

Please note: The places at this event are fully funded from ERDF and LGF sources and as such we are required to capture reporting data for our funders on the recipients attending to demonstrate the support and this is reflected in the questions to complete as part of the registration process.
