James Shutt, Tandem
With one foot in design and the other in business, James and his team at Tandem are helping businesses to harness design as a powerful tool to transform the way they deliver innovation. Tandem, with clients such as Unilever, Akzo Nodel and Lakeland to name a few, have a mission to create a positive impact through design thinking. James will talk about the role of front end design in building winning strategy.
There’ll also be a short presentation from Innovate UK regarding their new Design Foundations programme. This is funding for early stage design projects and can contribute up 70% of the cost. It’s open to large companies as well as SMEs.
Rise and Design lasts for approximately three hours, and includes networking before and after speakers. There is a chance to pitch at the end of the speakers' presentations, and you can book a stand for the whole event.
