Fairhaven Singers, Conductor Ralph Woodward, present works by Bach, Bruckner, Britten and Vaughan Williams
For our November concert, we present an uplifting programme of choral masterpieces. After beloved works by Bach (Komm, Jesu, komm), Bruckner (Christus factus est and Os justi), and Britten (Hymn to St Cecilia), we are joined by baritone Richard Latham and organist Roland Robertson for an atmospheric all-Vaughan Williams second half, its highlight the passionately lyrical Five Mystical Songs.
