"Rise Through Our Roots" is a year-long program designed to connect participants, from all walks of life, with African heritage and culture. It aims to educate, celebrate, and build community through a series of workshops and events.

• Quarterly Workshops: Interactive sessions for participants each quarter, covering African history from pre-colonial times to the modern day.
• Celebration Events: Each workshop cycle concludes with a community event featuring live music from African artists, talks, and/or panel discussions.
• Community Involvement: The program was developed in response to community-identified needs and is co-designed with a community steering group to ensure relevance.
