Film Showing: Gaza Fights For Freedom and special Q&A with director Abby Martin.

Newly released this year, Gaza Fights For Freedom is a powerful documentary which presents a damning indictment of Israeli war crimes and imperialism- and reveals the heroism of Palestinian resistance. This film is followed by discussion of liberation movements across the Middle East- including the Kurdish struggle and Lebanese uprising.

Imperialism, Cuba and Latin America.

Climate change and imperialism: Report back from Anti-imperialist Conference in Havana.

Sam McGill has just returned from the 2019 Anti-imperialist Solidarity Meeting for Democracy and Against Neoliberalism in Havana, Cuba. At this meeting Sam will report back on her experiences there. One of the things endorsed by the conference was the urgent need to build an international, anti-imperialist movement against climate change. This meeting will also discuss how imperialist attacks on Bolivia, Venezuela and Cuba are linked to the lucrative extraction of natural resources in Latin America.
